Curriculum

We aim to offer a broad and valuable curriculum, following the guidance of the National Curriculum for England, preferences from our referring schools and the needs of each pupil.

This can be done in a formal way similar to school classroom teaching, or more project based for learners who prefer to draw from multi subjects and skills around a favoured idea, vocation or theme.

My daughter was suffering from mental health difficulties which prevented her from attending school full time. Her tutor connected really well with her and made the lessons fun and manageable, gauging well how much pressure my daughter could cope with. My daughter really enjoyed learning with SET and passed all 3 sciences.

Timetable

Pupils attend SET Education for 1.5 hours at a time. Working 1:1 is very tiring and we have found that this time period is the best for productivity.

Time slots can be discussed with respect to a pupils individual needs and altered accordingly.

Sessions at SET Education should be used as part of a package of provisions and activities. Click the button below to see examples of how this could look.

SET helped my daughter with Maths in more ways than one. She built confidence and tailored the tutoring to suit my daughters needs and made maths fun!
