Qualifications at SET

GCSE

Pupils at SET can study and complete GCSE Qualifications in core and vocational subjects. Entries are made through their mainstream schools with examinations being sat onsite.

SET is working towards becoming an independent exam centre which means pupils without schools can be entered for GCSE’s too.

Unit Award Scheme

SET is accredited by the AQA to create, deliver, asses and enter pupils for Unit Award Scheme Certificates.

These can be completed in a wide range of subjects and skill areas.

Previous pupils have achieved certificates in Animal Care, Beauty, Childcare, Fashion, Cooking and Life Skills.

A great foundation for those who wish to be recognised for their hard work but are not quite up to GCSE or Level 1 standard.

Functional Skills

SET is an approved TQUK Qualifications Centre.

We can provide alternative training and qualifications to school age and POST-16 Pupils, including functional skills in Maths and English.
