Specialist
The setting is managed by Suzy Thomas who has almost two decades of teaching experience, in Mainstream, Special Educational and PRU sectors. Suzy is a fully qualified Teacher and SENDCo, with extensive training in Special Educational Needs, Trauma, Mental Health and Behaviour Management. Having worked from classroom all the way up to senior management level, Suzy has developed a range of skills and experiences which allow for expert teaching and management of pupils.
At SET Education our aim is to work closely with schools, parents and other professional and voluntary services to provide packages tailored to each individual pupil and their specific needs and outcomes. We will work with schools and external professionals, when needed, to assist with processes for EHCP’s, or those involved in the education of Children in Care.
SET Education is registered with Ofsted and The Tutors Association.
Staff are fully trained in Safeguarding, First Aid, Food Hygiene, SEN, Trauma and Specialist Therapies.
SET Education is expanding, we are currently seeking experienced and qualified staff to add to our full and part time mentors, specialist teachers, tutors and therapists.
